Coronavirus (COVID-19) Safety Measures

Dear St. Paul Allergy & Asthma patients and families,

St. Paul Allergy & Asthma remains open for patient care during regular business hours. This includes our offices in Highland Park, Shoreview, and Woodbury. For your safety and the safety of our
staff, we ask that you wear your own mask (or other face covering) when visiting the clinic. Please note that we are not able to test for COVID-19. We ask that if you have a fever, flu-like symptoms, recent international or cruise ship travel, or exposure to known cases of COVID-19, please contact your primary care provider.

OFFICE VISITS

Over the next few days/weeks, patients with scheduled clinic visits will be contacted to determine if a change to a telemedicine visit is appropriate. If an in-person visit is required, we ask that you bring no more than one person with you to your appointment. Upon arriving to St. Paul Allergy and Asthma, please call 651-698-0386 to check in by phone for your visit. You will then have the option to wait in a private exam room or to remain in your vehicle prior to your visit. You will receive a call when we are ready to see you in our office.

ALLERGY SHOTS

We will continue to offer allergy shots during this time. The next time you are in for shots, please speak with our lab staff about the options we have to modify your treatment schedule. When you arrive to the clinic, please call 651-698-0386 to check in. Please wait in your vehicle until you receive a call back that your allergy shot is ready. After administration, you may wait the required 30 minutes in an exam room or in your vehicle. If you experience an adverse reaction following your allergy shot, you should immediately return to clinic; if you are not in the immediate vicinity, please call and someone will assist you.

BIOLOGIC MEDICATIONS

These medications include Xolair, Dupixent, Fasenra, and Nucala. You will continue to call ahead so that we can get your medication ready. When you arrive, stay in your vehicle and call 651-698-0386. We will call you back when your medication is ready to be administered. If your medication requires that you wait in our office, we will have you wait in a private exam room.
We thank you in advance for your understanding and patience as we work together to keep our patients and staff safe.

Sincerely,

Drs. Aichbhaumik, Chase, McNulty, and Boeckman
